Job Description

About the Role As a Precision Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in bringing industrial machinery to life by transforming raw components into high-performance cutting and sawing equipment. Your technical expertise in mechanical assembly and electrical systems ensures that every unit meets our rigorous quality standards before reaching the customer. Responsibilities Interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation to assemble intricate mechanical systems, including transmissions, axles, and cutting heads. Execute precise wiring of motors, switchboxes, and engine components to ensure optimal machine functionality. Utilize pneumatic and hand tools to perform critical assembly tasks such as torqueing, aligning, and bolting components. Conduct comprehensive performance testing and quality inspections to verify that equipment operates within specified parameters. Prepare finished machinery for distribution by crating units and ensuring all necessary documentation and accessories are included. Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace while proactively identifying opportunities to improve assembly efficiency and safety. Required Skills 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or industrial assembly. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate pneumatic and power tools safely. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and handling vibrating equipment. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control. Preferred Skills Prior experience in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance. Basic understanding of electrical wiring and troubleshooting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or process improvement methodologies.
