This isn't production welding. This is real fabrication. We're looking for welders who take pride in their work, know their way around MIG or Flux Core, and want to be part of a shop that builds large-scale equipment that actually matters. What You'll Do Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel and fabricated assemblies Read prints and weld to spec with consistency and precision Work alongside fabricators to build large industrial systems from the ground up Use grinders and hand tools to prep and finish welds Check your work for strength, quality, and fit-up Keep your area clean, safe, and dialed in What We're Looking For Experience with MIG and/or Flux Core welding Ability to read and follow basic fabrication prints Strong attention to detail and weld quality Shows up ready to work and takes pride in the trade Bonus Experience (Not Required) Structural steel fabrication Industrial ductwork or equipment builds Previous shop or manufacturing experience Why Harris Fabrication Real fabrication work — no assembly line repetition Build large, heavy-duty equipment from start to finish Work with a solid crew that respects skill and work ethic Steady, full-time work in a no-BS shop environment Location On-site in Topeka, KS Common commute from Lawrence, Manhattan, Kansas City, and Emporia Apply Today If you care about doing it right and want to build something real, let's talk.
