Full-Time Consultant-Long Term Contract Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with the ability to work any assigned shift. Weekend and overtime work may be required. About the Role As an Assembly Mechanic , you will play a critical role in the assembly, installation, inspection, and testing of complex aircraft structures and systems. Working from engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements, you'll help ensure every component meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and performance. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced aerospace manufacturing technologies, including highly automated CNC -controlled equipment, while supporting some of the most innovative aircraft programs in the industry. What You'll Do Aircraft Assembly & Installation + Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete structural and system components. + Build subassemblies and end items using engineering drawings, work instructions, and process specifications. + Perform functional testing and verify proper fit, form, and function of assemblies and components. + Utilize tooling and equipment to assemble components into completed structures. Inspection & Quality Assurance + Verify work complies with engineering specifications, manufacturing requirements, and quality standards. + Conduct dimensional inspections using precision mechanical and electronic measuring tools. + Identify and report discrepancies and non-conforming conditions according to established procedures. + Maintain inspection documentation and quality records. + Support process surveillance activities to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements.
