Job Description
General Job Description:
- Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on various types of manufacturing machinery. This includes manual, semi-automatic, and automatic machinery
- Dismantles, installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains equipment
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and hydraulic schematics
- Repairs and fabricates
- PLC programming
- Safely operate a seated forklift
- Properly program, setup, recover and diagnose robots
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Accurately document department data / compete required paperwork
- Practice safe shut down and lockout / tagout procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Skill Required:
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Steel, forging, manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools
- Good communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Technical knowledge
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to train others as needed
- Work as a team
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
