Mechanical Assembly Technician Location:
Tyngsboro, MA Pay:
$22 to $24 per hour (DOE)
Hours:
6:00AM to 4:30PM, M- Th Full Time, Temp to Perm Position Overview The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for mechanical assembly, metal polishing, laser marking, and general labor tasks that support the production of high-quality components. This role ensures that all parts are assembled to specification, properly labeled, and production ready. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and dependable in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools and fixtures.
  • Complete work in accordance with traveler instructions and specifications.
  • Accurately label components using laser marking equipment.
  • Support general production needs, including material handling and preparation.
  • Inspect assemblies and finished components for accuracy and workmanship. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly.
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced job shop environment.
  • Basic math knowledge and ability to record accurate production data.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
