Job Description
Curtis Bay / Baltimore, MD | $32-$35/hr | Full-Time Condustrial is hiring an experienced Senior Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial equipment at our Curtis Bay and Baltimore facilities. This is a hands-on senior mechanic position—not an automotive or building-maintenance role. We're looking for someone who can independently diagnose equipment problems, make repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and provide direction and support to other maintenance team members. What You'll Work On You will troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and systems involving: Mechanical components Hydraulics Pneumatics Electrical systems Motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and related components Material-handling and heavy industrial equipment You should be comfortable diagnosing a problem, determining the cause, and completing or coordinating the repair with minimal supervision. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair industrial machinery and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems Perform preventive and predictive maintenance Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize downtime Inspect equipment and identify developing mechanical problems Lead and assist other mechanics and maintenance personnel Help prioritize repairs and daily maintenance activities Train and mentor less-experienced mechanics Read schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Follow and enforce site safety procedures Coordinate with operations and management regarding equipment repairs Required Experience You MUST have: 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance, heavy-equipment repair, or similar mechanical experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical/mechanical equipment Previous experience leading, training, or directing other maintenance employees Ability to read technical manuals and schematics Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable personal transportation Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and active industrial operations Preferred Experience Candidates with any of the following are especially encouraged to apply: Port or terminal maintenance Rail operations Material-handling equipment Heavy equipment Manufacturing or processing plants Conveyors and bulk-material systems Welding and fabrication PLCs or industrial controls OSHA or industrial safety certifications Location The primary assignment is Curtis Bay, MD , but this position requires the ability to work at both Curtis Bay and Baltimore locations as operational needs require. Reliable transportation between facilities is required. Pay $32.00-$35.00 per hour , based on experience. This is a full-time position with consistent work and opportunities for long-term growth.
