Job Description

Job summary: The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role supports production goals by minimizing downtime, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on production equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility systems Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of industrial equipment Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize production downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status to supervisors and team members Facility Maintenance & Safety Assist with general facility maintenance, including interior and exterior inspections and repairs Conduct safety evaluations and identify potential hazards Participate in Safety Committee meetings and support company safety initiatives Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, and safety risks to appropriate personnel Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Teamwork & Leadership Work effectively with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve equipment issues Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement Support training and mentoring efforts as needed Qualifications Required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience with hydraulic systems, press equipment, electrical systems, and CNC machinery Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be self motivated Preferred Experience with PLCs and ladder logic programming/troubleshooting Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience Additional Requirements Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of arms and legs, moving body, such as lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials as necessary. Must pass Company pre-employment testing.
