Job Description

Design automotive tooling, mechanical systems, and general assembly equipment using Siemens NX for high-volume manufacturing environments. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Approximately 10 years of mechanical design experience Strong automotive tooling experience Strong general assembly experience Proficiency with Siemens
NX / UG NX
Strong knowledge of GD&T Knowledge of manufacturing processes Experience designing mechanical systems for automation or general assembly environments Automotive industry experience Experience supporting industrial automation systems Experience developing production-ready mechanical designs and tooling Preferred Skills Ford general assembly experience Ford GVOSS experience General Motors experience GM general assembly experience GM stamping experience Experience supporting automotive OEM manufacturing programs Experience with high-volume vehicle assembly tooling and equipment Experience designing fixtures, tooling, and automated assembly systems Job Responsibilities Design automotive tooling and general assembly equipment Develop mechanical systems for automated and industrial manufacturing applications Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using Siemens NX Develop production drawings and engineering documentation Apply GD&T to mechanical designs and tooling Design fixtures, tooling, and mechanical components for automotive assembly operations Support general assembly system development and integration Evaluate designs for manufacturability and production requirements Modify existing tooling and equipment to support manufacturing changes Support automotive OEM design standards and engineering requirements Coordinate design changes through manufacturing and installation phases Support tooling validation, assembly, and production launch activities
