Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic — 2nd Shift We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to join an established food manufacturer on second-shift. This is a role that production genuinely depends on, with steady work and room to grow. What you'll do Keep production equipment running, including conveyors, ovens, freezers, motors, and pneumatic systems, through preventive maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagrams, schematics, and specs. Swap worn parts before they become downtime, and document your work to food-safety standards (GMP, SQF). Remove and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, and inspect parts for wear. Keep parts and supply inventories stocked so production never waits on a missing component. What you bring 1+ year of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience and strong mechanical aptitude. Comfort with conveyors, motors, belts, and pneumatic systems. Ability to tackle hands-on, physical work like lifting up to 50 labs, moving on your feet throughout the shift, and stability on ladders or platforms when equipment is overhead. Your own industrial-grade tools (list provided when you start).
