Job Description
About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for maximizing equipment uptime and operational efficiency. You will diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring our high-speed production lines remain reliable and perform at peak capacity. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair intricate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize production downtime. Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, rotary equipment, and industrial control systems to ensure long-term reliability. Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to execute precise equipment modifications and repairs. Utilize precision measuring tools and shop equipment to fabricate or restore critical machine components. Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders to maintain accurate facility records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical bottlenecks and improve overall plant performance. Maintain a safe work environment by strictly adhering to safety protocols and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance or technical manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Strong technical aptitude with power tools, precision measuring devices, and shop machinery. Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work independently and communicate technical solutions effectively to team members. Must possess a personal set of basic hand tools. Preferred Skills 6+ years of experience in high-speed bottling, packaging, or plastics manufacturing. Advanced knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, PLC systems, and industrial communication buses. Experience with HVAC systems, including chillers and high-capacity air compressors. Skilled in welding (MIG/TIG/Stick) and metal fabrication techniques. Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field. Proven track record of serving as a technical lead or mentor within a production facility.
