Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician with a concentration on electrical components to join our dynamic production team. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly and accurately. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician experience to diagnose and repair automation systems. Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance. Conduct repairs involving welding (including stick, mig, tig welding), HVAC/R systems, and low-voltage electrical circuits to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and asset history. Support field service operations by responding promptly to equipment failures or emergencies within the manufacturing facility. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machinery performance while adhering to safety protocols. Use analysis skills to evaluate equipment performance data and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed. Assist in training team members on maintenance procedures, safety practices, and the proper use of tools like scissor lifts or industrial ladders. Qualifications Proven experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility as a maintenance technician or industrial mechanic. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems; familiar with industrial electrician practices. Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding, schematics interpretation, and mechanical repairs. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Ability to read technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings accurately. Excellent analysis skills combined with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance principles. Field service experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Effective communication skills in English; customer service orientation is a plus when interacting with internal teams or external vendors. Military background or experience is considered an asset due to discipline and technical training background.
