Job Description

Electromechanical Assembly Technician Job Description The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician assembles complex mechanical systems and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role prepares and assembles products according to detailed specifications and engineering drawings, supports maintenance activities across the facility, and ensures all work meets quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical products and systems according to specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documents. Prepare hoses for water-cooling systems, ensuring proper fit, connections, and leak-free performance. Assemble pallets and prepare equipment and furnaces for safe and secure shipping. Rework and modify parts as needed to meet quality and functional requirements. Perform typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the wider facility. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the appropriate supervisor or lead. Essential Skills High school diploma. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Familiarity with mechanical hand and power tools. Experience with mechanical assembly, including working with pneumatics and hydraulics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Some mechanical knowledge and understanding beyond basic aptitude. Experience using power tools, mechanical hand tools, and related equipment in an industrial setting. Exposure to assembling gas systems and reading complex mechanical and electrical schematics. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Allenstown, NH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
