core principles: Safety, People, Profitability, New Business Generation •Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application• Job Description The Superintendent is responsible for: Leading field operations from mobilization through project completion Supervising craft employees, subcontractors, and field personnel Ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications Coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials Developing and maintaining project schedules and critical path activities Monitoring productivity and jobsite performance Supporting project cost control and resource planning Interfacing with clients, inspectors, engineers, project managers, and other contractors Maintaining project documentation including: Daily reporting, Timekeeping and timesheet management, Work order tracking, Supporting billing activities, Tracking materials and equipment Providing technical guidance and quality control oversight Enforcing company safety policies and implementing corrective actions when necessary Participating in hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of field personnel MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The right candidate has the following qualifications: 7-10+ years of construction site leadership experience Open to Superintendents, Lead Superintendents, General Superintendents, and strong Foremen ready for the next step Experience managing projects ranging from: $4M - $20M+ Mechanical construction background required Heavy Industrial, Process Piping, Water/Wastewater, Utility, Underground, Manufacturing, Energy, or Infrastructure experience strongly preferred Experience supervising field operations on projects involving: Complex piping systems, Heavy rigging, Pump stations, Mechanical systems, Utility infrastructure Strong understanding of: Construction means and methods, Drawings and specifications, Line and grade, Survey methods, Cost control, Scheduling, Safety programs
Knowledge of:
Pump and machine repair, Basic electrical systems, Craft labor agreements and jurisdictions Strong leadership, communication, and workforce management skills Experience coordinating subcontractors, field crews, and project stakeholders High School Diploma, Technical School, or equivalent field experience
OSHA-10 / OSHA-30
