consideration We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electromechanic to join our 2nd Shift operations team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and facility equipment to minimize downtime and support efficient manufacturing operations. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on production equipment. Diagnose and repair machinery, motors, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed. Troubleshoot control systems and assist with PLC-related issues. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability. Essential Skills Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience repairing industrial manufacturing equipment. Working knowledge of PLC systems and automated machinery. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and controls. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience preferred. Welding and fabrication experience a plus. Work Environment The work schedule is 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 3:15 PM to 11:30 PM. Overtime is available, ranging from 5-10 hours, based on production needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlstadt, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
