Full Job Description General Description:
We are seeking a skilled industrial maintenance mechanic to ensure the optimal functioning of all equipment and machines at our facility. The industrial maintenance mechanic's responsibilities include identifying faulty equipment, making relevant adjustments to machinery, carrying out maintenance tasks in a conservative manner, and maintaining technical knowledge through refresher workshops. To be successful as an industrial maintenance mechanic, you should have a passion for understanding how things work and have sharp senses that help you locate minor faults quickly. An outstanding industrial maintenance mechanic should stay informed on developments in their field. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team. Strong communication skills are a necessary part of this position. Maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment is of top priority, thus we seek a professional whose values reflect our own.
Reports to:
Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities and duties:
  • Service pumps, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC automated systems.
  • Interact with work instructions and maintain inventory of parts using CMMS Software.
  • Performing scheduled inspections, servicing, and testing of equipment, PM.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Perform and approve LOTO permits
Educational Qualifications:
    Required:
    High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
      Preferred:
      Mechanical Technology Degree
        Preferred:
        Mechanical Certifications demonstrating ability to perform Hand-On maintenance. Company training will include

        ISO 9001
        2015 awareness
        Other Skills:
        • An ability to work well under pressure
        • Teamwork and problem-solving skills
        • Efficiency and organization
        • Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc. per OSHA guidelines
        • Both English and Spanish speaking applicants will be a plus.
        • Experience with Lathe and CNC is a plus
        • Good communication and time management skills
        • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
        • Night shift availability is a plus
        Pay:
        $28.00 - $29.45 per hour
