Industrial Mechanic

POSITION SUMMARY

- Full-time year round experienced Industrial Mechanic needed maintenance of Asphalt Plants. Experience with stick and mig welding as well as using a torch in addition to overall maintenance of plants. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by manager. Candidates must past a pre-employment physical and drug test.

Essential Job Functions :

(Essential functions may include, but are not limited to the functions listed below.) Performs repair work and preventative maintenance on asphalt plants and equipment including conveyor belt work, torching, welding, fabricating, heavy mechanical work on conveyor chains, installing and replacing wear liners, bearings, motors and gearboxes. Must be proficient in welding and torching Fabricating experience a plus Work requires someone willing to work utilizing industry leading safety practices including lock/tag out and fall protection Job specific technical and safety training provided Growth opportunities available Service Truck Provided/available Must properly and accurately complete repair orders for all repairs and maintenance performed in order to maintain proper records. Employee should be ready to work at scheduled start time. All maintenance procedures to be performed in accordance with checklist procedures provided by the Department Manager Occasional night shifts may be required as necessary

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Five years related experience Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently required.
