Job Description

We're hiring an Electrical Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our heavy production machinery. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who thrives on a predictable rotational schedule and enjoys balancing advanced PLC troubleshooting with heavy mechanical repairs.
Pay & Schedule Schedule :
Monday -
Friday Rotation :
3 days on → 2 days off → 2 days on → 3 days off
Extras :
Able to work alternating weekends and overtime as required
Openings :
2 immediate roles available
What You'll Do:
Troubleshoot & Repair:
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial production equipment independently.
Preventative Maintenance:
Execute routine PMs and assist with major machine rebuilds to ensure long-term equipment reliability.
Advanced Troubleshooting:
Read, understand, and troubleshoot PLC code to minimize production downtime.
Support Specialty Machinery:
Work directly on 400-1,100 ton Injection Mold machines and 30-75K ton Blow Mold machines.
Fabricate & Maintain:
Perform occasional welding, machining, and grinding a few times per month; safely handle 480V high-voltage equipment.
What We're Looking For Required:
The 80/20
Balance:
Strong expertise in heavy mechanical repair (80%) paired with solid electrical troubleshooting skills (20%).
PLC Expertise:
Proven ability to troubleshoot Allen Bradley, RSLogix 5000, and Siemens S7 systems.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with diagnostics (multimeters, hand tools) and core industrial systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical controls).
Professional Traits:
A stable work history, excellent attendance, and strong practical problem-solving skills. Preferred /
Strong Transferable Backgrounds:
Electrician's license. PLC programming capabilities. Experience in plastics manufacturing (Injection Molding, Extrusion, Thermoforming, Tool & Die). Familiarity with auxiliary systems (material loaders, conveying systems, HVAC-related controls).
