Job Description

INDSUTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
This is a industrial maintenance mechanic position at a growing manufacturing company that produces Industrial Ceramic Products. We are in the midst of adding new production capability and process improvements to manufacture new product offerings to our existing product lines and we are looking to hire an industrial maintenance mechanic to our staff to support our existing production and be part of the growth and development process. We currently have 18 employees, with a maintenance and production support department of three This is a 45-55 hour week position that is NOT temporary or seasonal. As an industrial maintenance mechanic on our staff, you will be part of a department that is tasked with maintaining proper operations of our manufacturing plant, facilities, and building. As important, you will be part of the support, installation, modification, repair and maintenance of new and modified production equipment and support tooling for improving our manufacturing processes and productivity. You will utilize your core skills and experience in industrial mechanics to troubleshoot and repair equipment, provide preventive maintenance, and work on projects to improve manufacturing equipment and tooling involved in our process. Candidates must be able to work with outside vendors for repairs beyond our scope of expertise and capabilities. Examples of equipment that are be supported by our maintenance team are dryers, kilns, mixers for solid and liquid materials, compressors and piping systems, PLC controls, dust collectors, band saws, surface grinders, CNC milling machines and turning centers, fork trucks, power and manual pallet jacks, cranes and hoists. Candidates should have a proficiency in industrial maintenance and equipment repair, and able to read and implement drawings, schematics and operating manual instructions. Candidates should have the ability to use measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers. Candidates should be able to operate tool room equipment such as a table saw, band saw, manual lathe, Bridgeport style milling machines, and drill presses. and basic carpentry skills. Candidates should have experience with hydraulics, PLC controls electrical systems. Welding, combustion burners maintenance, and wet saw cutting experience is helpful for occasional task Candidates are expected to have familiarity with some to all of the types of the equipment we utilize.
