Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Peri & Sons Farms is seeking applications for a full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Yerington, NV.

Position Summary :

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure the reliability and safety of all industrial machinery. Some of the job functions include: Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various machines including conveyors, motors, pumps, and production equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to perform repairs and maintenance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to repair and maintain equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and preventive maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot electrical systems and components as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred. Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical manuals. Experience with a variety of hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This is a physically active position requiring frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs. It requires fine motor skills and dexterity to work with a variety of facilities, equipment, and parts of various sizes. This position usually works in Packing Sheds.

Compensation:
