Pay Rate:

$26.00/ hour (Based on experience) About the Role Core Personnel Staffing Services is seeking a heavy-duty Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a premier structural precast production facility in Hempstead, TX . This position focuses on hands-on mechanical repair, hydraulic systems rebuilds, heavy fabrication, welding, and mechanical power transmission servicing for batch plants, steel forms, conveyors, and heavy industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities Mechanical & Hydraulic Repair:

Rebuild and repair hydraulic pumps, rams, valves, gearboxes, drive belts, chains, and conveyor systems.

Welding & Fabrication:

Perform Stick/MIG welding and torch cutting to modify, repair, or reinforce heavy machinery, steel forms, and structural plant fixtures.

Heavy Equipment Servicing:

Execute emergency teardowns and mechanical overhauls on batch plants, mixers, and aggregate handling equipment.

Safety Protocols:

Follow strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, hoist/crane safety guidelines, and workplace cleanliness standards.

Required Qualifications Experience:

3+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, or Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist.

Technical Knowledge:

Advanced knowledge of fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics), mechanical drive systems, and welding/metal fabrication.

Troubleshooting Skills:
