Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Orangeburg, NY, United States | req31339 2nd shift What you will enjoy doing• You will troubleshoot, repair, install, modify and maintain manufacturing mechanical equipment & systems As scheduled, coordinates repair, modification and preventive maintenance operations Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives / policies business needs You will oversee and / or perform new equipment installations Utilizes hand and portable power tools and follows safe working practices through all steps of equipment repair and maintenance You will ensure operations technicians understand and follow safe working practices through all steps of equipment repair and maintenance You may provide advice to management regarding equipment life and usage and in researching new equipment purchases Coordinates and oversees the movement of furniture and/or materials and equipment as required Ensures all equipment documentation is complete and properly processed Additionally you will maintain and updates control documents, as well to perform preventive maintenance on equipment and plant systems What makes you great A High School diploma / GED is required Further you must have three to five (3-5) years Industrial Maintenance experience or similar mechanical experience You also must have experience reading and understanding electrical schematics; and mechanical blueprints Basic computer skills in EAM and Microsoft Outlook are necessary for this role Flexible schedule to support manufacturing needs Why you will love working with us Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
