Job Description
Join Our Team Wastewater Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Pump Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing septic pump systems and related components in a shop environment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands- on work, and takes pride in producing quality products while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble septic pump systems, control panels, floats, alarms, and related components according to company specifications.
- Install and wire pumps, floats, and electrical components as required.
- Test completed pump systems to ensure proper operation before shipment or installation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues during assembly and testing.
- Read and interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Maintain inventory of parts notify management when supplies need replenished.
- Operate hand tools. Power tools and testing equipment safely.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and preparing completed units for delivery.
- Work Collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals.
- Perform additional shop duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, electrical work, plumbing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read measuring devices, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Ability to work in a shop requirement.
