Job Description
- Light mechanical assembly
- Cuts and strips wire manually and using wire cutting machine
- Crimps terminals using hand crimp and pneumatic crimping tools
- Tests cables using test fixture
- Assembles small mechanical assemblies and box builds
- Works with hand tools and power tools. Uses ruler/tape measure/calipers.
- Inspects workmanship as necessary.
- Experience with cable, harness, wire assemblies, and box build assembly work preferred.
- Uses label makers/tie wraps/various hand tools, etc...
- Tin wires and solder to connectors or terminals
- Soldering experience preferred.
