Job Title:
General Assembly - 1st & 2nd shift Job Description This role focuses on industrial assembly and line wiring in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces large power products. You will assemble sizeable electrical bins, route cables, and install mechanical and electrical components while using hand and power tools and following technical drawings and blueprints. Responsibilities Assemble large 30 x 50 foot electrical bins used in power product manufacturing. Run and route various electrical cables throughout each bin according to specifications. Assemble and install electrical, electronic, and mechanical components within the bins. Use hand and power tools, including drills and other common shop tools, safely and effectively. Support line wiring activities by routing, terminating, and securing wiring and cabling as directed. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical assemblies. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Proficiency using hand and power tools safely (such as drills and related tools). Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with industrial assemblies and line wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications Construction experience, particularly in structural or industrial environments. Carpentry experience, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. Automotive mechanics experience or similar hands-on mechanical work. Experience with wiring and cabling in industrial or commercial settings. Prior mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing facility. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and detailed technical drawings. Interest in long-term employment and growing into more advanced technical roles. Ability to pass internal assessments, such as line wirer evaluations, which may lead to early pay increases. Work Environment The role is based in a very clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility with approximately 80 people working on the production floor. You will work around power products, large electrical bins, and related test and assembly equipment, using hand and power tools regularly. The schedule will be on first or second shift depending on the candidate's preferences. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
