Qualifications English Full Job Description Mechanical Assembly Pay Rate and Hours:
$20-24/hr Monday through Thursday, Friday OT as needed, Regular hours: 6am-2:30pm, OT hours: 5am-3:30pmMechanical Assembly Job Summary:
Construct, assemble, or rebuild machines, such as engines and similar equipment used in manufacturing industries.Mechanical Assembly Responsibilities:
Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer specifications. Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists. Set and verify parts clearances. Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies. Read and interpret assembly blueprint and specifications manuals, and plan assembly or building operations. Maintain and lubricate parts and components. Assemble systems of gears by aligning and meshing gears in gearboxes. Verify conformance of parts to job traveler and blueprints. Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools or rivet guns. Remove rough spots, and smooth surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts, using hand tools and power tools.Mechanical Assembly Qualifications:
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Conducting tests and inspections of completed products to evaluate quality. The ability to see details at close range. Excellent mechanical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints. Must be able to communicate and understand English. High School Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years' experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment. Overhead crane experience a plus. Must be able to lift 25- 50 lbs.
