Job Description

Mechanical Assembly Technician Our client is a worldwide leader in design and manufacturing of Dry Pumps System, in-house servicing of Dry Pumps and Turbo-molecular Pumps. They provide an unparalleled local and global network of customer support and technical service centers that ensure the highest standard of reliability, maximum uptime, and lowest cost of ownership for all products. Summary The Service Center Technician is a key member of the team, supporting clients in the Microchip manufacturing industry. Working under direct supervision, disassembles and re-assembles pump systems including the cleaning of parts for the rebuild process.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm Overtime happens occasionally and may be mandatory
Pay:
$19/hr
Location:
Hillsboro, OR •This location is NOT public transit accessible• Essential Functions Disassembly, cleaning, or re-assembly of pumps. Receive pumps, generate parts order, perform teardown and condition reports. Documents all observations during disassembly and generates failure analysis reports. Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used during for the service of pumps. Checks power and hand tools for proper operation. Ensure that all Procedures and Instructions are followed during the assembly process. Communicate all issues to Leads/Supervisor on a timely manner. Re-assembly of pumps Requirements Working knowledge of mechanical skills. Working knowledge of principles of vacuum technology. Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer. Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills. Demonstrated good oral communication skills. Provide verification of good driving record if servicing customer offsite.
