Mechanical Assembly Technician Job Description This role focuses on performing in-house mechanical modifications, assembly, and disassembly of electric AC/DC motors according to detailed customer specifications. You will work in a modification shop environment, using a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools to rework and build motors of different sizes while following documented procedures and safety standards. The position involves close collaboration with modification leads, engineers, and quality teams to ensure all motors meet performance, safety, and documentation requirements. Responsibilities Perform in-house modifications to electric AC/DC motors based on detailed customer specifications. Disassemble, rework, and reassemble motors of various sizes using standard hand tools, power tools, and air/pneumatic tools. Complete daily equipment checks to ensure tools and machinery are in safe working condition. Experience with small motor or engine assembly and repair, such as automotive or small engine work, is beneficial. Prior experience in automotive mechanics or automotive repair is advantageous.
