Job Description A Mechanic/Welder is responsible for completing the following duties: Performing all necessary assembly routines before and after trucks and trailers are painted Installing pre-fabricated parts on trucks trailers Operating equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies and procedures Reading and interpreting blueprints to perform proper assembly procedures Using a variety of hand tools to complete assembly procedures Installing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems on tanker trucks and trailers Other duties as assigned Employee Benefits Weekly paycheck Boot reimbursements up to $125 Medical insurance - Covers 75% of premiums Dental and vision insurance Company paid life insurance 401K retirement account with 5% company match On the spot bonuses up to $100 Qualifications Strong mechanical background or experience Understanding of 12V electrical systems Ability to read blueprints Ability to read 1/8", 1/16", gradations on tape measure Ability to convert feet to inches and vice versa Familiarity with FCAW welding preferred Traits of Our Successful Employees Uphold company core values: Serving Others, Culture or Opportunity, Strong Work Ethic, Long Term Relationships and High Integrity Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency Good attendance and punctuality Attention to detail Concern for quality Willingness to help out where needed
