About the Role As a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure the peak operational efficiency of our industrial fleet and facility infrastructure. By leveraging your expertise in diesel engine repair and precision welding, you will minimize downtime and drive the reliability of our critical mechanical systems. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive repairs and diagnostic testing on heavy-duty diesel machinery to ensure maximum uptime. Perform proactive preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifecycle of industrial equipment. Utilize advanced welding and burning techniques to fabricate parts and complete structural repairs. Troubleshoot complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults within the facility. Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate equipment installations and upgrades. Document all maintenance activities and service logs to maintain high standards of operational compliance. Support general facility upkeep to provide a safe and functional environment for all team members. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent certification. Proven professional experience maintaining diesel engines or heavy-duty industrial equipment. Demonstrated proficiency in welding and metal fabrication. Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system fundamentals. Experience utilizing a wide range of industrial hand and power tools. Ability to interpret complex technical manuals and engineering diagrams. Preferred Skills Strong analytical mindset for rapid problem-solving in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Physical stamina required for manual labor and operating in various industrial settings.
