Job Description

Job Summary Provides advanced technical expertise in diagnosing complex failures, improving equipment reliability, and supporting long-term maintenance strategies. Essential Job Functions• Diagnose complex and chronic equipment failures. Interface with PLCs, automation, and control systems (non-programming). Conduct root cause failure analyses and corrective actions. Improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment. Mentor and develop Maintenance I and II technicians. Drive reductions in unplanned downtime. Collaborate with engineering on equipment improvements. Promote maintenance best practices and standards. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience. Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of advanced diagnostics for mechanical, electrical, and automated manufacturing systems. Skill in performing root cause failure analysis and implementing corrective actions. Ability to interface with PLCs, controls, and automation systems for diagnostic purposes. Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance and equipment life cycle principles. Ability to mentor and develop less experienced maintenance technicians. Ability to plan and execute complex maintenance and repair activities. Ability to exercise independent technical judgment when resolving high impact equipment issues. Operational Equipment N/A Work Environment and Physical Demands Work Environment Self-paced, 8 hr shifts. May be exposed to fumes, loud noises, and extreme temperatures infrequently. Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required. Physical Demands Heavy, lifting up to 85 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 280 lbs.
