Equipment Mechanic/Welder- 1st Shift

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; one Saturday per month; travel to other job sites as needed

$20-$25/hour DOE and by passing a weld testing. About the

Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated 1st Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This is a hands-on, critical role where you'll ensure our manufacturing equipment runs smoothly, reliably, and safely. You'll use your mechanical expertise, diagnostic skills, and welding experience to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make repairs that keep operations running at peak performance.

What You'll Do:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment including motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes. Use MIG and TIG welding skills to repair or fabricate parts as needed. Work with electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure reliable operation. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Use diagnostic tools (ohmmeters, multimeters, etc.) to identify and resolve equipment issues. Collaborate with the team while also working independently on assigned tasks. Visit other job sites as needed to support equipment maintenance across locations. Uphold all safety standards and company policies at all times.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as an Equipment Mechanic or similar role in industrial or manufacturing settings. Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge. Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding. Must provide your own leather tools. Detail-oriented, proactive, dependable, and committed to high-quality work. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while keeping safety top of mind.
