Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Hydraulic Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing hydraulic systems within a manufacturing facility. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with advanced machinery, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure operational excellence. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless production processes, supporting safety, efficiency, and quality standards across the plant. Duties Committed to working in a safe manner. Maintains clean & safe work areas and follows all safety procedures. Complies with all pollution, toxic waste, and safety regulations and laws. Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic equipment, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and related components. Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. Repair or replace hydraulic components utilizing welding, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical tools. Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and control system documentation for troubleshooting and repairs. Use field service techniques to service hydraulic systems on-site or in the manufacturing facility, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with electrical tasks involving low voltage systems, high voltage safety protocols, and industrial electrician experience when necessary. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on hydraulics and mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, schematics interpretation, and analysis skills. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical troubleshooting with ammeters and ohmmeters, and working with low/high voltage systems. Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, HVAC certifications preferred, along with experience operating scissor lifts or other industrial equipment. Background in industrial electrician work or military technical training is highly advantageous. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to field service support. Ability to work safely around high voltage equipment while adhering to all safety protocols related to industrial maintenance.
