Job Description

Our client, a global leader in advanced energy and industrial manufacturing , is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering and Manufacturing Operations organization supporting repair engineering, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , a quality-focused mindset , and excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities , which will align successfully within the organization.

12 Months What's the Job? Manage repair qualifications for critical industrial and turbine-related components while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality standards. Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues through engineering analysis and corrective actions. Support Built-In-Quality (BIQ) initiatives to improve operational performance and product reliability. Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to drive successful repair solutions. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen, and continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and efficiency. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience supporting manufacturing, production, repair, or industrial operations environments. Strong understanding of quality systems, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and process improvement methodologies. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced engineering environment.
