The Opportunity As an Elevator Service & Modernization Mechanic , you'll keep our customers' elevators operating safely and reliably while delivering modernization projects that extend the life and performance of existing equipment. Your Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, repairs and modernization work on hydraulic and traction elevator systems. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications to diagnose faults and complete repairs and modernization work. Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and performance. Install and replace components as part of modernization projects. Respond to service calls and troubleshoot equipment safely and efficiently. Build strong relationships with customers through professional, reliable service. Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and recommend appropriate repair or modernization solutions. Complete service reports, maintenance records and required documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite at all times. Follow
