Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a Shift Mechanic who is responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities • Performance of all jobs must be conducted safely, efficiently and accurately. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains processes at an industrial level Performs work orders that comply with the maintenance schedule and addresses the plant needs Support predictive and preventative maintenance program Support internal projects Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce quality materials output that meet product specifications and quality system requirements Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and follows the Safety Cardinal Rules Performs any other assignments as directed Qualifications and Requirements • High school graduate or GED equivalent. • 4 Years of Industrial Mechanical/Millwright Experience, Completion of Apprenticeship Program Plus 2 Years of Industrial Mechanical/Millwright Experience, or Completion of Vocational School Industrial Maintenance Program Plus 2 Years of Industrial Mechanical/Millwright Experience About Us Viskase is a global leader in the food packaging industry, renowned for delivering top-tier artificial casings and a comprehensive range of casings and nettings.
