Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Wood Personnel Services - 3.5 Nashville, TN Job Details $25 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Manufacturing plant facilities maintenance experience Full Job Description Wood Personnel Services is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for a wire manufacturing facility in Nashville, TN. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to support safe and efficient operations. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Industrial Maintenance Compensation and Shift:
Nashville, TN Shifts Available:
5am-3:30pm OR 5pm-3:30am $25.00 an hour +
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections Diagnose and correct mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime Utilize knowledge of electric motors, transformers, welding equipment, air compressors, pneumatic cylinders, control valves, and regulators to diagnose and repair equipment Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical components including bearings, brakes, gears, cams, pulleys, and related power transmission systems Assist with equipment changeovers, adjustments, and machine setup Test equipment following repairs to ensure proper operation
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications & Experience:
Previous industrial maintenance experience required Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Knowledge of electric motors, pneumatic systems, compressors, and mechanical power transmission components Welding experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50lb regularly and up to 100lb occasionally
