Technician

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find Electronic/Assembly Technicians for a manufacturing in South Austin. In this role, you'll support the assembly and production of mechanical and electrical systems in a shop environment. This is an exciting opportunity for hands-on technicians who enjoy working with tools, wiring, and detailed build processes.

AS A TECHNICIAN, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Performing mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies
• Completing electrical wiring, cable, and harness fabrication
• Connecting battery systems and performing interconnections
• Reading and following schematics, build documentation, and work instructions
• Using standard shop tools to complete production tasks
• Ensuring quality and accuracy in all assemblies
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Supporting team production goals in a fast-paced setting

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 3-6 years Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and basic electrical wiring
• Experience with crimping, harness building, and shop tools
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Comfortable working in a shop/production environment
• No electrician or engineering license required

$50K-$60K based on experience
