00 an hour Industrial Mechanic in Coppell, Texas. Production floor mechanic, factory machines. Warehouse Maintenance. Paper Converting Industry. TSTIMPRESO, a leading converter and distributor of processed paper products, is searching for a full-time, on-site Industrial Mechanic at their Coppell, Texas paper converting plant. This person will perform their work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and be effective working with team members, along with other members of the management team. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and the company's Vice President of Production.
Job Overview:
The primary purpose of the Industrial Mechanic is to assist in the direction and management of all plant operations related to equipment function and maintenance
  • the mechanical and electrical repair of paper slitting equipment and related equipment in a fast-paced production setting.
This position is critical to keep the manufacturing process running at the most efficient levels. This person will also assist with all general mechanical/maintenance issues at facility, including HVAC, electrical and structural needs.
Specific Requirements:
Must have solid, experienced working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC Motor, PLC, electrical components, relay logic and ability to use testing equipment such as voltage/AMP meter. Troubleshoot and ability to work on 110v/220v electrical components is a plus. Must be already familiar or quickly up-to-speed with JennerJahn, Dusenbury, and Hamilton paper conversion equipment. A similar familiarity is required regarding shrink wrap machinery (wire and hot knife), heat tunnels, conveyor belts, compressors, fork trucks and building maintenance issues. Welding experience is a plus.
Daily functions may include:
Develop and maintain the Preventive Maintenance program for all machines. Schedule work requests and workorders. Complete all assigned projects. Minimize machine downtime through effective and efficient trouble shooting and repair to ensure safe, effective and optimal-performing machinery. Ensure that all shifts, first, second and third
  • that they each have what they need regarding functioning equipment and associated materials to accomplish their production goals.
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, providing hands-on leadership and support regarding all maintenance and repair situations. Manage routine and preventative maintenance (PM) tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep. Troubleshoot facility-related electrical systems and perform basic installations (e.g., light fixtures, ballasts). Conduct general facility repairs, including drywall, painting, door hardware, and minor structural work. Operate equipment such as forklifts, ladders, and lifts to perform maintenance tasks safely and effectively. Work closely with production staff and other assigned mechanic personnel to accomplish tasks in an effective, timely manner. Ensure all maintenance work complies with OSHA and internal safety protocols.
Other Requirements:
Good Housekeeping, outstanding quality and general knowledge of shop tools is mandatory. Solid knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage maintenance operations independently. Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills. Strong communication skills

Person must have flexibility to work overtime on request. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
