Role:
As an Assembly Repair Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, sealing, rigging, inspection, and assembly of structural and system components. You will utilize technical drawings, quality standards, and formal procedures to ensure that all assemblies meet precise fit and functional requirements. Your daily tasks will involve gathering technical data from various sources, including blueprints, digital instructions, and verbal guidance, while applying shop math and precision measurement tools to validate your work. You will also be tasked with maintaining equipment, managing minor preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all tools are properly certified. Furthermore, you will facilitate the efficient movement of products within the manufacturing area and contribute to the overall production schedule. Beyond individual tasks, you will play a key role in supporting team flow by mentoring colleagues, sharing inspection techniques, and cross-training in specialized areas such as CNC operation or specific structural assembly specialties like fuel cell sealing and pressure testing.
Key Requirements:
We are seeking seasoned professionals with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in structure and skin repair, specifically with experience managing work tags. Successful applicants must provide their own personal tools and a rolling tool chest. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to work any shift, including weekends, as required by the 7-day operation.
