We're looking for someone with a strong industrial maintenance background who is mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting equipment, and understands what it takes to keep a production facility operating safely and efficiently. Aggregate plant experience is preferred, but not required. We're interested in candidates coming from a variety of heavy industrial environments, including manufacturing, mining, concrete, asphalt, recycling, material handling, construction materials, or other industrial production facilities. Responsibilities Perform preventive and routine maintenance on plant equipment Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify potential failures before they result in extended downtime Assist with equipment repairs, breakdowns, inspections, and planned shutdowns Inspect, maintain, repair, and replace components such as belts, rollers, bearings, screens, hoses, pumps, motors, and other wear components Monitor conveyors and material-handling equipment for proper operation Perform lubrication and equipment servicing according to preventive maintenance requirements Safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Assist with maintaining proper plant flow and production efficiency Identify and communicate equipment deficiencies, safety concerns, and potential reliability issues Support plant operators and other team members when needed Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and PPE standards Desired Experience The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience performing maintenance in an industrial or heavy-equipment environment . We're particularly interested in candidates with experience involving: Conveyors and material-handling systems Bearings, pulleys, rollers, and belt systems Pumps and motors Mechanical troubleshooting and repair Preventive maintenance Industrial equipment inspections Heavy equipment and production machinery Basic fabrication or mechanical repair experience Experience working in an aggregate plant, wash plant, quarry, crushing operation, concrete/asphalt facility, or recycling operation is a strong plus — but it is not a requirement. If you have solid industrial maintenance experience and the mechanical ability to learn our equipment and processes, we want to hear from you. Ideal Canidate We're looking for someone who: Has strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Takes ownership of equipment and maintenance issues Understands the importance of preventive maintenance and minimizing downtime Works safely around operating equipment and heavy machinery Is dependable and shows up ready to work Can work independently while also being part of a team Is willing to learn new equipment and processes Takes pride in doing the job correctly the first time MSHA or OSHA training is a plus, but not required. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position.
