Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Upfitter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Dependability and reliable a must! In this role, you will be responsible for customizing and assembling vehicles and equipment . Your expertise in mechanical systems, welding, and the use of power and hand tools will ensure that each project meets our high standards for quality, safety, and durability. A strong focus on safety protocols and precision is essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and machining equipment to modify and fit parts. Perform welding tasks with precision, ensuring strong joints that meet safety and quality standards. Conduct dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify component specifications. Assemble mechanical systems while adhering to safety protocols in all activities. Inspect finished work for quality control defects, ensuring all assemblies meet design specifications and safety standards. Handle heavy lifting safely using manual handling techniques or appropriate lifting equipment as needed. Experience Preferred Proven experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly environments with a focus on vehicle upfitting or similar fields. Strong mechanical knowledge. Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with machining processes ,using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, calipers, and other measurement instruments. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Prior mechanic experience or background helpful. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
