Switchgear Fabricator - Assemble

Switchgear Assembly Technician Full-Time | Manufacturing We are seeking mechanically inclined, team-oriented candidates to assemble sheet metal and electrical components for medium-voltage (5-38kV) switchgear. This role does not involve working with live electricity. Hours are Monday-Thursday 6a-5p, Friday 6a-Noon. Pay is $20/hr. Responsibilities Assemble metal-clad and metal-enclosed switchgear using hand tools Install breakers, bus assemblies, barriers, switches, and metering components Read and follow engineering drawings and build instructions Ensure work meets quality, safety, and ANSI standards Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications Mechanical or assembly experience preferred Proficient with tape measures and hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, sockets, wrenches, torque and Allen wrenches) Ability to read technical drawings Strong attention to detail and safety Must pass an industrial skills test, drug screen, and background check Preferred Experience with switchgear or industrial equipment assembly Why Join Us Work on custom, high-quality power distribution equipment Stable, growing company Competitive pay and benefits Apply today! #1688CC
