DOE Job Summary:
The Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of industrial machinery by performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment such as CNC machines, press brakes, punching, shearing machines, motors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. Repair and upkeep of critical components such as motors, pumps, valves and control systems. Sourcing parts, supplies and services as needed to maintain and repair all shop equipment, power and hand tools. Attend daily shop operations meetings to align priorities and schedules with all departments. Ensure documentation of all maintenance tasks, annual and other mandated equipment inspections and certifications. Maintain excellent organizational and 5S standards for maintenance. Manage relationships with external machine representatives and service providers. Compliance with all Flynn Health and Safety Standards Report to management on misuse of tools and other company property. What you Bring
- Qualifications Proficiency with maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- certification is required Practical industrial manufacturing experience is essential
- demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications.
Strong troubleshooting skills Manual dexterity and skilled use of power and hand tools. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Able to work independently and be accountable for schedules and work performed.
