Role Overview Our team is looking for a reliable and talented Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our operations. You will play a key role in the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of our industrial machinery, ensuring that production remains both safe and highly efficient. We are looking for an individual with a sharp mechanical focus and a background in manufacturing who can effectively identify equipment problems to keep our facility running smoothly. Core Responsibilities Execute routine and emergency maintenance tasks to keep production machinery in top condition. Fix and troubleshoot various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems. Proactively examine machinery to catch and resolve potential malfunctions before they lead to downtime. Swap out worn mechanical parts such as motors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, pumps, and bearings. Support the team during the installation and modification of new or existing equipment. Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide repair processes. Execute necessary fabrication and welding tasks to restore equipment functionality. Document maintenance activities and ensure work orders are finalized with precision. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to LOTO and other safety protocols. Collaborate with production staff to boost equipment output and reduce operational interruptions. Keep the workspace tidy and well-organized at all times. Provide rapid response to equipment failures and urgent maintenance requests. Required Qualifications Prior professional background as a Maintenance Technician or Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. Deep understanding of industrial equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and mechanical assemblies. Demonstrated ability to accurately diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions. Background in machine repair, fabrication, and welding is highly valued. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Familiarity with the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Capacity to contribute to team goals while also working autonomously. Completion of a GED or high school diploma. Preferred Qualifications Prior work history within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Experience with electrical troubleshooting tasks. Working knowledge of PLC systems. Certification in welding or specialized fabrication skills. Experience operating scissor lifts and forklifts. Physical Demands Capacity to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for long durations. Ability to frequently handle and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Comfort working within a standard manufacturing and industrial facility. Willingness to work weekends and extra hours when business needs arise. Compensation and Schedule Full-time employment status. Standard Monday through Friday schedule with required overtime. Salary is commensurate with your professional experience.
