Job Description Job Summary:

Express Employment in Bellingham is hiring a Maintenance Technician for an engine remanufacturing company in Bellingham. This position is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, general building upkeep, and supporting design and fabrication on special projects. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of industrial maintenance experience, a strong mechanical aptitude, a proactive attitude, and the ability to lift, move, and take on hands-on tasks with confidence. • Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm, some Saturdays as needed

Bellingham, WA Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow our preventative maintenance guidelines to ensure properly functioning equipment
• Use hand and power tools to repair equipment
• Use equipment manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Electrical system troubleshooting
• Maintain building infrastructure maintenance with management and co-workers
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Two years of industrial maintenance experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Mechanical mindset and basic automotive knowledge preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Understanding of single and three-phase electrical systems
• Understanding of mechanical systems
