Job Description
Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy equipment Perform field repairs, breakdown service, and scheduled maintenance Work on excavators, dozers, loaders, and similar construction equipment Operate and maintain a service truck Perform equipment inspections and document work completed Coordinate with supervisors and field crews to keep equipment running Requirements Minimum 5 years of service truck experience Strong troubleshooting and repair skills Experience working on multiple types of heavy equipment Must have own tools CDL-B or CDL-A required Ability to work independently in the field Must follow all safety procedures and maintain situational awareness Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (safety-sensitive position) Benefits Competitive pay PTO Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Company events and team activities As an equal opportunity employer Nutter Corporation will hire without consideration to race, religion, creed, color, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status or disability.
