About the Role As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in the final production stages, ensuring that every unit meets high-quality standards before reaching the customer. You will utilize your technical skills to integrate complex components, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Execute final assembly processes, including wiring, lighting installation, and hardware mounting to complete product builds. Utilize digital assembly guides to ensure precise configuration and adherence to customer-specific requirements. Conduct thorough quality inspections to verify functionality and appearance, proactively addressing any defects. Operate a variety of hand, power, and air tools to perform assembly tasks safely and efficiently. Collaborate cross-functionally with production teams to maintain steady workflow and meet critical delivery deadlines. Maintain accurate production records and documentation to track assembly progress and modifications. Foster a culture of safety by maintaining a clean workspace and utilizing required personal protective equipment. Required Skills Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and tape measures. Capability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Preferred Skills Prior experience in automotive, trailer, or general manufacturing assembly. Familiarity with welding environments or basic fabrication processes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production setting.
