Job Description

Job Summary Industrial Works is a Mid-Size Diversified Metals Fabrication Company located in Green Bay, WI that is experiencing growth. We are looking for a full-time Field Service Supervisor. We distinguish ourselves in the marketplace by our proven advantage of Manufacturing Excellence, Project Management, On Time Delivery, and Superior Customer Service. This position is responsible for overseeing a field crew. The Field Service crews are involved in comprehensive industrial and mechanical projects including installation, maintenance, and repair of stainless-steel food and dairy equipment. Installation projects require up to 50% travel with stays varying from 1 - 10 nights, with the occasional emergency projects, and receive a per diem for all overnight stays. Each field crew member is on a rotating on-call schedule, frequency of on-call is based on the size of the crew. Experience is preferred however we offer training to those with limited experience. We incorporate growth through merit-based advancement. Travel and lodging is arranged and paid for by the company. In addition to the base pay with travel taken into consideration this position has the potential to earn up to $134,000 annually plus benefits. Duties Understand Customers Scope of work and expectations Communicating with Crew members and Project Managers regarding Scope of Work Concept drawing/sketch Identify the root of customer's need Identify the decision maker for the customer Identify timeline, quality required, manpower (offer real timeline if customer's is not realistic, Base timeline off material/labor availability) Planning of known future material and labor requirements Lead Person - Communicate between other lead persons and Project Manager as required Track and record time spent directly on customer projects, manage time dedicated to billable customer work, and ensure all chargeable hours for customer services are accurately logged in the ERP via the Data Collection App. Skills Understand the organization's manufacturing process and production needs which are to be supported by this position Focus on Quality and Continuous Improvement Engage in manufacturing process development Work compliant with OSHA Standards Understanding Blueprint Readings Understanding P&ID Drawings Manufacturing Process Development Maintenance/Installation Knowledge of International Standards and how to establish The Academic Competencies of this position will require: High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills - Microsoft Outlook and Word Ability to use handheld measurement tools Ability to use handheld tools The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
