Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Thiele Tanning Company Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time $20 - $38 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Qualifications Carpentry Plumbing Welding Facilities routine maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual with knowledge of skills such as mechanics, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or welding, etc. As a maintenance mechanic you'll help ensure that all machines and equipment are running safely and efficiently, troubleshoot problems, perform preventative and routine maintenance, and other duties as needed. The candidate must be self-motivated, safety conscious, flexible, reliable, and able to work well with others. Prior tannery experience is helpful, but we will train the right person. Duties/Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Performs preventive maintenance and service on machines and equipment. Performs general building maintenance Assists in identifying the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines and helping with repairs. Dismantles machinery and removes, cleans and/or replaces defective parts Perform other duties as needed
