Power Your Purpose. Join Our Team. About the role Key Responsibilities Demonstrated ability to perform all Level 1 competencies, including: Safely operate all shop equipment. Read and comprehend technical drawings and bill of materials (BOMs). Disassemble industrial gearboxes/drivetrains. Ensure quality documentation is completed and signed off.
Support Warehouse and Finance Teams:
Timely and accurate labor entry. Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory. Support flatbed inbound/outbound shipments on an as-needed basis.
Technical Proficiency & Production Support:
Manage time effectively to maintain production throughput and standard cost hours. Properly absorb labor time into work orders. Identify internal gearbox components. Outfit all external electrical and lubrication systems. Disassemble gearboxes and mainshafts at a proficient level. Operate mechanical press to separate components from an interference fit.
Support Engineering Team:
Take ownership of quality event resolution. Perform scheduled gear inspections for reuse. Qualifications/Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school certification or technical degree preferred. Forklift and heating/cutting torch experience. Overhead crane operation experience required. Familiarity with Hytorc equipment preferred. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Initiative to learn and grow in a hands-on environment. Reliable and committed to consistent performance. Eligibility Requirements Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Must comply with all safety and training requirements. Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly. Comfortable standing, bending, and performing hands-on tasks for extended periods. Work performed in an industrial shop environment with exposure to mechanical equipment and oils.
